This resource page is managed by Bob Van Dyk for the
Wild Salmon Center. The mission of the
Wild Salmon Center is to identify, understand and
protect the best wild salmon ecosystems of the Pacific Rim. We devise
and implement practical strategies, based on the best science, to
protect forever these extraordinary places and their biodiversity.
We support a balanced management of Oregon's state forests for a wide variety of
values -- from timber and fish to recreation and drinking water.
We support the creation of permanent conservation areas to ensure our legacy to the future.
We oppose attempts to make timber production the primary purpose of the state lands.
